AC Repair And Replacement In New Braunfels
- AC repair: everything from systems blowing warm air to units that shut off on hot afternoons.
- New AC systems: We size each system to the house rather than matching whatever was there before, and financing is available. Our Price Assurance Guarantee covers qualifying installs if you have a competing estimate.
- Tune-ups and heat pumps: yearly maintenance, plus heat pump repair and installs.
- Heating: heater repair and furnace replacement.
New Subdivision Or Older Home: What Should You Watch For?
New Braunfels was founded in 1845 by Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels, and it was the third-fastest-growing city in the country from 2010 to 2020. About 40% of its homes were built in 2010 or later. Our work splits along those two lines.
- Newer subdivisions: builder-installed AC systems that are coming off warranty, drains that were never cleaned, and sewer lines with no outside cleanout. We install outside cleanouts on these homes, which gives a plumber access to the main line without pulling a toilet.
- Older homes near downtown and Gruene: older plumbing and ductwork that needs a closer look before anyone quotes a fix.
What Happens During A Plumbing Test For Foundation Repair?
We ran 59 hydrostatic tests in New Braunfels this year, before and after foundation repair. The pre-test finds leaks under the slab before the house is lifted. The post-test confirms the lift didn’t crack anything. When we find a leak, we repair it and retest so the foundation crew can finish.
Drains, Leaks And Water Heaters
- Drain cleaning and sewer line services, including main line backups
- Leak detection and slab leak repair
- Water heater and tankless water heater repair and replacement
- Water softeners: New Braunfels Utilities blends Guadalupe River water with Edwards and Trinity aquifer groundwater, and hard water scale is a common complaint
New Braunfels FAQ
It’s a good time. A tune-up at the end of the warranty catches installation problems, low refrigerant and clogged drains while the system is still young.
It’s an access point on your main sewer line, usually outside the house. Without one, clearing a main line clog means going through a toilet or the roof vent. Installing one makes every future drain call faster.
Yes. We service older plumbing and HVAC systems throughout New Braunfels, not just the newer subdivisions.
